Case Study

Logo Perception Testing Among Qualified Snack Consumers in Libya

About

About

The client needed to understand how their logo was perceived by consumers who actually matter for purchase decisions, not the general population. They wanted feedback exclusively from sole decision-makers on sweet snack purchases who consume chocolate-covered cake regularly and who were already aware of the brand without actively rejecting it. The study also needed to represent all regions of Libya within a lean, best-effort sample size.
Problem Statement

Isolating a Precise, Purchase-Relevant Audience for Logo Evaluation

The client needed logo feedback specifically from sweet snack consumers who influence real purchase decisions, not the general population. This required respondents to simultaneously meet several strict conditions: primary decision-makers on sweet snack purchases, regular (monthly+) cake consumers, and awareness of the brand without rejecting it. Meeting all these criteria within a 200-person sample, nationwide across Libya, and a tight 14-16 minute interview meant screening had to be rigorous without making the survey too long or the sample too hard to fie

Solution

A Structured, Multi-Criteria B2C Quantitative Survey Design

A quantitative online survey was fielded in Arabic across all regions of Libya, targeting 200 respondents within a 14–16 minute interview. Sequential screening logic qualified respondents against every required criterion for the purchase decision-making role, monthly+ cake consumption, and brand awareness with non-rejection, ensuring each completed response met the full profile needed for meaningful logo evaluation.
